Duration of On-Road Assessment

The On-Road Assessment is a 30 minutes practical assessment.

Deadline for Assessment on Fitness to Drive Report & On-Road Assessment Checklist Form

You will need to submit the Assessment on Fitness to Drive Report and On-Road Assessment Checklist form to LTA at least 2 weeks before your upcoming birthday.

Limits to Re-Take Assessment

There is no limit to the number of On-Road Assessment re-tests you can take.

Can I Use My Own Modified Vehicle?

If your vehicle has been modified to suit your special needs, and you need to drive it for the On-Road Assessment, that means you must take the On-Road Assessment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital only. Driving Centres are not qualified to assess the driving for a modified vehicle.

Can I Use My Own Vehicle for the On-Road Assessment?

The Centre will assign a training car to use on the actual day of the assessment. You will not be allowed to use your own vehicle unless you fall under the following exceptions:- - Bus Vocational Licence Renewal

Required Submission Upon Completion

You are required to submit the Assessment on Fitness to Drive Report together with the On-Road Assessment Checklist Form to LTA via email at LTA_Assessment@lta.gov.sg (mailto:LTA_Assessment@lta.gov.sg)

Cancellation/ Reschedule/ Postponement of On-Road Assessment

Postponement/ Cancellation/ Reschedule has to be requested at least 2 working days (48 working hours - not inclusive of Public Holidays) in advance before the date and time of actual assessment. Time Validity of Medical Certification to Pass On-Road Assessment

You will need to pass the On-Road Assessment within 2-month from the date you were certified fit.

Documents Required for Registration

The following documents are required during registration:- - NRIC (age should be turning 70, 73 or 74) - Medical notification letter from LTA - Assessment form with Parts I and II duly completed and certified by the General Practitioner (GP) - Valid driving licence * Vocational Licence holders with modified vehicle must register and undergo the On-Road Assessment with Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) only.
