Minimum Requirement for Motorcar Enrolment

CLASS 3/ 3A ENROLMENT MINIMUM REQUIREMENT - At least 18 years old at the time of application - Physically and mentally fit - Passed eye-sight and colour blindness tests - Have not accumulated more than 12 demerit points under the Driver Improvement Point System (DIPS) - Applicants who are above the age of 65 or pregnant must produce a certified doctor’s letter stating that they are fit to drive/ride during the period of training and Traffic Police Tests

Difference Between a Class 3 & Class 3A Licence

A Class 3 licence will allow you to drive a motor vehicle with clutch pedals (manual transmission vehicle) or without clutch pedals (automatic transmission vehicle), while a Class 3A licence will allow you to drive only an automatic transmission vehicle. Do I Need to Enrol for Theory Course Separately to Take Practical Course with the School?

You are NOT REQUIRED to make a separate enrolment for your theory and practical course if you are enrolling for our Class 3/3A course. Are Theory Lessons Compulsory?

Theory Lessons are not compulsory. Learners are not required to complete any theory lesson prior to booking of your theory test. The resource is provided for learners to learn about BTT and FTT content under the guidance of a trainer in a large group setting via Zoom platform.

How Can I Upgrade my Class 3A Licence to Class 3 Licence?

You will need to apply for the Class 3 practical test, which is a driving test using a Manual Transmission Vehicle. You may enrol for our Express Course should you wish to upgrade your licence from Class 3A to Class 3.

Can I Use My Own Vehicle for Lessons/Test?

No. Cars used for instructional and testing purposes have to be insured for training and testing, and must be approved by the Land Transport Authority.
